- David Carson
Born in the 70’s, raised in the 80’s & 90’s and matured (allegedly) in the 21st century, it’s time to admit that I’ve been around for a while. Not only that, I’ve been involved in the creative sector and design for most of my life.
Starting at an early age painting logos on race cars during my art lessons at school, it always seemed to be where I’d end up. Don’t get me wrong, the path here wasn’t a straight one. I was tempted by the great outdoors in college and almost headed down that route as a career. However after a foundation year at Art College I’d found my true love… graphic design - I also fell in love with photography which to this day is something I’m still passionate about.
During my career I’ve worked at a start-up agency, taught at The Northern School of Art and founded a highly successful agency that to this day continues to flourish. Over the years I’ve helped clients all around the UK and beyond, working in a wide range of sectors from heavy industry to athlete branding. I’ve also helped establish and grow brands of both local and national SMEs.
My expertise cover everything from identity design and branding, traditional design for print, advertising and creative concepts right through to user experience, web design, animation and video editing (and pretty much everything in between).
Working as closely as possible with clients is where my passion lies and forging new relationships with the people I work with is of paramount importance. I relish working in a ‘hands on’ manner with clients and hope to see myself as a part of their team as projects progress.
If you have a project you think we can work together on, or you need an extra pair of experienced hands to help out in your studio then I’d love to talk to you.
